Houston plays everywhere: a winery club in the city, open play at a cafe on Mondays, a beginners' class at the Women's Institute, and instructors booking group lessons across the metro.
Mont Belvieu's Mahj-On Society is the area's full-service option, with lessons, private instruction, and club play. Beginners can also start with the Women's Institute of Houston's class for new players.
These are the Houston area instructors, studios, and clubs we have verified from their own public pages so far. New to the game? The free American Mahjong trainers teach the tiles and the Charleston before your first lesson.

Every listing here was compiled from the business or club's own public page, and the page we used is linked as the source on each listing. We do not publish ratings, reviews, or prices unless the business publishes them itself. A listing is not an endorsement, and this directory does not vet teaching quality. Check the business's own page for current schedules and details before you go.
Listings marked "not yet claimed" were added from public information and have not been confirmed by the business. Owners can claim, correct, or remove a listing at any time through the claim page; we act on corrections and removals within two business days.
